ROLE OF PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIP

Published on : 06-12-2021

Nurturing a child is one of the most fulfilling job that one can ever have, but it’s not without it’s challenges. Modern family life can be stressful and with various pressures on families, it’s not always easy rather challenging. Ultimately, every parent wants what is best for the child and a strong parent-child relationship can help lead to better outcomes for children. A healthy Parent-Child relationship is one that nurtures the physical, emotional, psychological and social development of the child. It is a unique bond that every child and parent can enjoy and nurture. This relationship lays the foundation for the child’s personality, life choices and in turn overall behaviour and approach towards society. It can also affect the strength of child's social, physical, mental and emotional health.

Young children who grow with a secure and healthy attachment to their parents stand a better chance of developing happy and content relationships with others in their life.

A child who has a secure relationship with parent learns to regulate emotions under stress and in difficult situations.

Yet many of us don't approach parenting with the same focus we would use for a job. We may act on our gut reactions or just use the same parenting techniques our own parents used, whether or not these were effective parenting skills.

No matter what your parenting style or what your parenting questions or concerns may be, from helping your child to dealing with behavior problems; Whether it's your own health, behaviors or the way you treat other people, your children are learning from what you do and "This is one of the most important principles."
